£12 million – that’s how much money GRM saved its clients in landfill tax exemptions in November 2008. Unfortunately whilst applications for that particular scheme are no longer being accepted there are others that could benefit you.
Tax relief of up to 150% is currently available for a wide range of works involved with developing contaminated land and from 1st April 2009, the extent of this relief is being extended. The works include capping layers, gas precautions, asbestos surveys/removal and consultants’ and contractors’ fees.
